Kristie graduated with a degree in speech pathology from Newcastle University during 2008. Shortly after, Kristie commenced her career as a speech pathologist at Innisfail hospital. After Innisfail hospital, Kristie started practicing in the early childhood area. Since then she has since practiced in Cairns & Burnie & since 2012, has been practicing in Canberra.
